If you are also sitting at home and enjoying films or web series on Netflix as well as working in these days of Lockdown, keep taking it. However, all sites like Netflix, Facebook have done their streaming on standard definition in view of more internet news so that you don't have to face difficulties in watching videos. While you are enjoying these videos, a message in social media is going viral claiming to give Netflix Free Passes to users.
If you have also received a message that tells you to give Netflix passes for free, be careful because it is nothing but a scam and it can prove to be dangerous for you to trust. Some users are getting messages in which they are being asked to give a link that they will get a subscription to Netflix for free as soon as they click on it.
Confirming this, netflix spokesperson has cautioned people and said that the company is not giving any such free pass and do not trust them if someone gets such a pass. The company has said that the message says, "Because of the rapidly spreading infection of Covid-19, we are giving completely free access to our platform for periods living in isolation. This offer is for until the virus is exhausted. With this message, a link is also given which is asked to join the survey. Then there is the lure of free passes.
As soon as the user clicks on this link and completes the survey, he is asked to give 10 WhatsApp contacts. Scammers have also created a fake site that looks like Facebook for it, which also proves their claim to be accurate. Naturally, all of them are also bogus. If you also get a message like that, be careful because a small mistake may be overwhelming. So we would advise you that no telecom company or video streaming site is offering you anything for free these days. Beware of such things and messages.
